Day One

Afternoon arrival at Nevis Island. We’ll settle in to our accommodations, and enjoy cocktails and a welcome dinner. You’ll have the evening free to get to know your fellow Adventurers!

Day Two

We’ll start the day with a hearty breakfast, then enjoy three hours of cooking instruction from a top local chef. Lunch will feature the delectable dishes we’ve created! By mid-afternoon, we’ll set off on a Discovery Tour to get you acquainted with this magical island. Spend the afternoon as you like, but be sure to rejoin your fellow Adventurers for dinner at a local plantation inn known for its authentic Caribbean fare.

Day Three

After breakfast, we’ll explore another facet of Caribbean cuisine, taking time for hands-on learning! We’ll lunch on the food we’ve prepared, then gear up to take a three-hour hike through Nevis’s legendary rain forest. Dress casually for dinner . . . we’ll visit one of our favorite beachside restaurants for classic local dishes.

Day Four

Once again, we start the day with breakfast and more practical instruction from our skilled chefs. Luncheon will be at a well-known beachside restaurant. An afternoon cocktail cruise off St. Kitts features snorkeling, sailing and plenty of socializing. You’re on your own for dinner . . . but check with us for some great dining options.

Day Five

A change of pace today! After breakfast, we’ll explore Nevis’s lively produce market, selecting the freshest ingredients for the next day’s cooking projects. We’ll tour the picturesque Botanical Gardens of Nevis – seven acres of beautifully landscaped flowers, trees, fountains and ponds -- then relax for the remainder of the afternoon. We’ll dine at an historic plantation inn renowned for its consistently excellent cuisine.

Day Six

After breakfast, we’ll cook up some Caribbean delights using the produce purchased the day before. After luncheon at a local eatery, we’ll embark on a leisurely cultural tour of some of the island’s historic villages, estates and plantations. Our dinner destination is the restaurant at one of Nevis’s most charmingly restored sugar plantations.

Day Seven

Here’s your opportunity to create the perfect “Day on Nevis” for yourself!  We begin with breakfast, then we’ll help you schedule whatever activity piques your interest: hiking, snorkeling, shopping, sailing, horseback riding, cycling, a visit to a local potter. Lunch is alfresco at Nisbet Beach Restaurant. Our farewell dinner party is at one of Nevis’s finest eateries.

Day Eight

We bid our fellow Adventurers good-bye as we depart for home . . . with a suitcase full of great memories!

While most of activities are included in the overall trip fee, please note that certain items such as free time recreational activities and beverages constitute an additional expense (see list below for exclusions.)

Our inclusive Nevis Culinary Adventure is offered to you at a competitive cost. Pricing is provided in one “full package” amount, without itemization of individual expenses. The Adventure includes seven nights lodging, seven dinners, five lunches, transportation within Nevis Island, all scheduled activities mentioned in the above itinerary, transfers to and from Nevis Airport, professional guide service, and hotel taxes.

Not included: Transfers from the St. Kitts airport, if needed (however, arrangements can be made at no charge), trip cancellation/delay insurance (highly recommended), airfare and other costs associated with travel to and from your point of trip commencement, all beverages including cocktails, “free time” activities, end-of-tour gratuities (not required but customary and strongly encouraged), telephone calls, laundry service and other personal expenses, expenses incurred due to inclement weather and other acts of God, altered road or trail conditions, flight delays, or other unforeseen security issues. While we will be traveling during peak season and do not anticipate inclement weather, no refunds will be provided should we encounter same.
